X

The starting point of my work is X, a geometrically stable structure based on 12 squares at
a 45-degree angle in a clearly-defined grid pattern.

X contains more; it demonstrates the eroticism of shape. Eroticism visualized in maximal reduction is the content of some of my work.

Universally crucial is the strategy that guides my own personal path – structural principles as the result of an opportunity to create imagery.

Symbolically, X stands for the unknown, the mysterious, the unexplored and the experimental.
The X space is limited in content; hidden visual openings create free space, loaded with energy.
Its inner organization comprises balance from the inside out. Uniting and repelling, penetrating
and dividing, breaking out of the norm. The balance of shape and color creates energetic fields of tension. Contrast finds itself in a perfect whole. In all, a captured harmony.

In my visual language, geometry, design and logical order are packed inside the archetype of X.
The conformity of the geometry ends in a strict symmetry, analogously synonymous to the human appearance. Color, as potential energy, is in harmony with shape – sensual, individual and expressive.

The shape of X holds its content together – the system is burst open dynamically, ultimately opening the work of art. The dialectic between open and closed is the result of my work.
